The trial period begins the day you register for the backup service. It continues for 2 weeks, up to the maximum storage limit of the 2GB plan. If you exceed your storage limit, you have the option to deselect files and continue your trial within limit.
The free trial is for 2 weeks for the 2GB backup plan. Credit card information is requested at the time you register for the free trial. The credit card is not billed until the free trial period is over.
As soon as you complete your registration, including credit card details an ABC Connected Agent will be emailed to you. You must then install the software to backup your PC or server.
When you complete the registration process, you will receive an email with the ABC Connected Agent software, you will receive a separate email with an account number and registration code. We urge you to print this email as you will need the registration code to activate your account on your PC or server.
Once you download and install the software, you will need the reservations code to complete the install process. The reservation code is for one time use only and will not work if you run the installation program on another PC or server. Each PC and server requires its own backup account, and therefore its own account number and reservation code.
A backup account is specific to the PC or server it is run on; therefore, an account may not be shared across PCs or servers. If you have more than one PC or server with data that you wish to backup then you must register for the backup service for each PC or server.
From time to time, there are changes to the ABC Connected software that will improve performance or add new features. When the new version has been thoroughly tested, it is released to our customers. Your version is then upgraded the next time you back up. There is no action required on your part and you will always have the latest version.
